Other Leather Tack

A few of my favorite projects are shown below.

This is my own tool rig which fits behind the cantle when I am riding fence. The dee holds a claw hammer if needed. Staple pouch, fence pliers, folding saw and hammer make a pretty complete kit. This rig fits down over the saddle strings making the strings available for tying on a coat. Slot in the bottom is for my breeching dee where I fasten a crupper if using one.

I made this western money belt at the request of a customer. He wanted something which he could wear with jeans that would not draw attention to itself. I also make a lot of plain Bridle Leather belts. Folks really like the feel of good leather.

A simple set of stamped spur straps are shown to the right.

Braided Tack

As far as braiding goes, I work on it primarily during the winter months. Two finished projects are shown below. To the left are two different styles of hobbles. To the right is a set of reins.

Check out the photo gallery as I have pictures of other projects there. I also make bosals, but I can not compete with the internet prices.
